A day in Barcelos

On Thursday, we spent all day in Barcelos. Our day started with visiting Market Barcelos which is very important for local community. You can find there a lot of things including traditional Portuguese products and souvenirs. We really enjoyed our time there because we got a chance to learn about Portuguese culture. We had an opportunity to try new food like Pastéis de nata which was incredibly delicious. In the afternoon we visited „ the Pottery Museum”. Thanks to this visit we heard a legend about “Galo de Barcelos” which was very interesting and eye-opening. After seeing the exhibition we painted a personal rooster. It was a lovely experience which helped us to get closer to each other. All things consider, it was a very entertaining, full of activities, productive day.
